One that is round and not stuffed not sweet, one that is round with apricot filling, one that is a cube with two options for flavored stuffing, and one last long donut. We got the unsweetened and the stuffed apricot one. Delicious. Ample seating outside in front and also in the back patio. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Would very much recommend! ”

There are also fried dough that are with filling similar to the jelly filled donuts. The cafe was very busy when we were there in the afternoon but the server helped us to find a spot. Nowhere in Bayern nor in the whole entire Germany, will you find tastier Schmalznudelns. Amazingly Delicious! What is it? A Schmalznudeln is similar to a doughnut, as it is fried sweet dough. However, it reminds me of a fried cheese danish and I love cheese danish.....but the Schmalznudeln tastes even better than a doughnut or even a cheese danish. In reality, the Schmalznudeln cannot be compared. It stands in a league all of its own. This cafe is located across from the Eataly Restaurant, in the Viktualienmarkt area. You cant miss it as it is the cafe with the Bavarian style wooden facade on the outside as well as on the inside. The closer you get, the more the sweet smell of the Schmalznudelns grab a hold of you, and you cant help it but drop in. Its so great, as you can see how they are made, right in front of you. Its great to have as breakfast with a wonderful Cappuccino. I love it here. This is definitely one of my top three favorite places to visit in Munich. I very highly recommend that you drop by and check them out. ”
